Waterman Character Education Program - written by Marianne Young

Waterman School has an active character education committee that meets throughout the year. We focus on our four Waterman Words and choose a motto every year. For the 2009-2010 school year, our motto is "Got Manners?". We discuss manners and the Waterman Words in the classroom, at Morning and Afternoon Meetings and throughout the building.

State Street Snowshoe Program - written by Bob Broddus

Thanks to support from the PTC and another donor, our Physical Education (PE) curriculum now includes snowshoes. When we take students out during PE, we have enough snowshoes for each student, the PE teachers and any aides that are present. Every student in our building will have the opportunity to experience the benefits of snowshoeing. What are some of those benefits?

Student Directory

During the summer, all families received a Student Directory form in a mailing from you child's school. Please return these forms as soon as possible so we can determine who should be included (and who does not wish to be included) in the Directory. The first Directory for each family is free. This year, the PTC is offering additional copies for $3 each. If you need a replacement form, both school offices have the form. Any questions should be directed to Kristi Ohlin at 685-8320.
